In many cases, one product will do both, (water for acrylics). In other cases, you may use a specialized reducer to get the desired flow and a retarder to aid in open time and prevent micro-foaming. WebMix vegetable glycerin and water in a jar with 1 oz of 100% vegetable glycerin and 9 oz of water. The retarder will be the following 1:9 combination. To the pouring medium you’ll be using with your acrylic paints, combine a little amount of this combination. The prior formula is mostly intended for use with liquid acrylic paint or pouring paint.
