WebJan 10, 2024 · Under FreeCAD, I sketched on the face of a solid as follows : My problem is, when I use "Pad a selected sketch", the solid created comprises also the original solid. It prevents me, for instance, to get the difference with the first one. Any idea what may be causing this? How to prevent it? Very specifically the errors exist because your cuts have gone outside of the original body (see the tree on the left where the body is below the cuts!). Freecad assumes that you are creating two separate parts in the same model and chucks out a message.
