WebJun 21, 2012 · All three planes needed the mouths filed for the blade to clear, due to the massive thickness of the blades (34mm, or 0.13". NOT a problem, at all, merely an inconvenience. From spare parts planes I came up with chip breakers that fit, and breaker screws long enough. Planning on ordering proper chip breakers for these blades soon.
